Trading Involves Significant Risk

Trading cryptocurrency perpetual futures is highly speculative and carries substantial risk of loss. You may lose some or all of the capital you deploy. The leveraged nature of perpetual futures contracts means that losses can exceed your initial position size if risk controls are not properly configured.

Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Gordo Trader's built-in risk controls (leverage limits, daily loss caps, drawdown guards) reduce — but do not eliminate — the risk of significant loss.

Automation Does Not Eliminate Risk

Gordo Trader executes trades automatically based on programmatic signals. Automated systems can and do experience technical failures, connectivity issues, exchange downtime, and unexpected market conditions that may result in unintended trades or missed exits. The kill switch and other manual controls exist precisely because automation has limits. Use them.

Hyperliquid and Exchange Risk

Gordo Trader operates on Hyperliquid, a decentralized perpetual futures exchange. Use of any exchange — centralized or decentralized — carries counterparty risk, smart contract risk, liquidity risk, and the risk of exchange failure or insolvency. Gordo Trader has no control over Hyperliquid's operations and is not responsible for any exchange-related losses.

Your funds remain on the exchange at all times. Gordo Trader's API access is scoped to trading only and cannot initiate withdrawals.
